And, while movies are sometimes important, such films are rarely among the movies included in the Oscar festivities. The 2009 Oscars were no different.</p> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal">Seriously, can we just admit that the Dark Knight was horrible. Really, really, horrible. Boring, soulless and stiff and, let’s face it, if Heath Ledger hadn’t died, no one would’ve given a second thought to his portrayal of the Joker as a Marlon Brando wannabe. Sure, his make-up was nifty and he was probably the best part of the Dark Knight, but that’s not saying much.</p> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal">On the plus side, one of the big 2009 Oscar winners was the much buzzed about Slumdog Millionaire.
